Our heavy-duty mix is formulated to create the most durable, high-performing foundations, even when faced with rough weather conditions or high levels of compression and abrasion.
Our heavy-duty concrete sets with optimum strength and durability for commercial slabs, driveways and foundations. It has been designed for performance and workability – including additives for easy troweling and finishing.
The secret to super-strong concrete
If you’re looking for a performance option for walkways, driveways, and foundations, look no more. Our specialty formulation contains the ultimate proportions of Portland cement, gravel and sand aggregates and additives for easy application.
About our formula
Here at Easy Mix, we use GP cement in our products in order to exceed the strength and density requirements of Australian Standard AS3972.
In our specialty heavy-duty mix, we use this same quality product at a greater density in order to ensure that tough-as-nails finish, without compromising on easy mixing, pouring, and application.
We know that there’s nothing worse than cracked surfaces on a high performance or volume area – whether we’re talking aesthetics or safety. That’s why we’ve made this version of our standard cement a whopping 250% stronger, with the ability to withstand 55 MPa once it’s fully cured (rather than the commercially required 20 MPa).
When to use our heavy-duty concrete mix
A super-strong solution is essential to creating the elements of your projects which will endure high levels of compression and bear heavy loads.
We created this durable formula to be the perfect choice for:
- Columns, particularly in sub-ground and low levels
- Load-bearing walls and reinforced foundations
- Shear walls and other diaphragms
- Concrete slabs
- High-traffic paved areas and roads, including driveways
